Leaving me to scratch my head and wonder why any high school would agree to hold a dance in a nearly condemned property with asbestos in it. I mean, I don't freak out or go off on long tangents Now, I understand that most teen books I have thus far read have neglectful parents who are practically non-existent in the text. For me, this was about Scarlett, Eric, Damen, and their music. This ghostgirl book needs a plot summary.

Cristina Galindo marked it as to-read Dec 19, So what of the others? The way she acts towards her sister is hilarious. Aug 14, Janet Sosnowski rated it liked it. Overall, I didn't enjoy this one. I know what is like to want to fit in, desperately. Charlotte is shallow and impossible to like. I really liked how that panned out, btw.
Apparently, it makes it easier to "sneak past" the bullies, despite the fact that this was the exact reason kids picked on him. The weren't hilarious or anything, but they calmed me down, and got a little more interesting in this book, and they improved a lot since the last book, but unfortunately, I think that the cool Pam and Prue from the first book are never coming back, and that is really a shame.
Then, as everyone, even the dead kids, were dancing and poor Charlotte remained lonely in the room watching everybody having fun and being all lovey dovey, here comes the human Casper moment when an unknown new hot dead guy arrives and asks her to dance Sadly, Damen has a girlfriend named Petula.
You couldn't hrley writing tnoya unrealistically if you stuck flying horses and faeries into the plot, too.
And in fairness, the fact that I felt so much disappointment with the book, means that she succeeding in making me care.
Charlotte, the ghostgirl of the title, is a classic example of a negative teenage stereotype: This was an extremely easy way to ghostbirl out of explaining why no adults were involved in the situation and to avoid giving the protagonist any sort of background development.
Diario de Ghostgirl
So selfish that her one ultimate act of growth in the end is virtuous only because it isn't as selfish as everything else she's done. Lo peor fue que, aunque fhostgirl regresara, no lograba construir un escenario decente. How old is your kid? Even its marketing campaign is cool.
The fact that these remained her only two goals after death is mind-boggling to say the least. In fact, Charlotte was assigned to be with Damen--the guy who Charlotte was dead for--and be his guardian angel.
Ich komme nur nicht mit dem Inhalt zurecht, obgleich es nicht ernst und ironisch gemeint ist.
Ghostgirl Book Review
Standards that we set to guide us through even the most difficult circumstances. This was nice because you'd always expect Charlotte and Scarlet to be together, and it's nice seeing Charlotte being around Damen without b I keep going 'awwww' with these books.
It also leaves the question of why no one tried to help Charlotte make friends before bt death unanswered. So in the sense that her writing style was entertaining, I can certainly learn something from her. However, Pam and Prue have come after Charlotte, and they meet up with Scarlet and help her to find Petula's soul by getting directions from Green Gary to the hospital intake office.
Or maybe I'll start at the end, with the cringe-worthy anti-climax and painful conclusion where of course everybody ends up happy, except for the mean-old cheerleader who finally gets what's been comin', yeahhh! Sorry, that person's shelf is private.
